I don't like the term "gay" as it seems to have cultural connotations, with which I don't identify. I'm homosexual, going on asexual. Is that because no-one wants you, or you are just not confident within yourself or interested in sex? I don't believe anyone is asexual. That is just a cop-out. I acknowledged that I'm homosexual, but have little interest in sex; hence " going on asexual". Much uglier people than myself regularly have sex; but I'm happy to acknowledge that I experience barriers to getting involved in a romantic relationship. I could probably have sex without paying for it by the weekend if I actually set my mind to it, but I have no interest in doing so. I do believe that I would have little interest in it even were it freely accessible from a partner, as has been my past experience. And the fact that you don't believe that it is possible for a human to be asexual is just ignorance. The human sex-drive is variable in strength from one individual to the next, so why can it not be possible for an individual to have no sex drive at all? This seems to be along the lines of "I don't like it, therefore it doesn't exist".
