I thought Fisher was pretty, but she was nothing exceptional. What she did have was spunk and personality.
It's interesting how Lucas didn't want her overly sexualized in STAR WARS and apparently even had her resort to taping her breasts flat, yet by the time RETURN OF THE JEDI came out in 83', she was prancing around in a skimpy metal costume and chains.
