Joe Pyne is a name I know only from Youtube. I saw Frank Zappa wipe the floor with him. It was very entertaining.
Pyne was the original "shock jock" -- he died in 1970. He was reviled by critics; but he skewered guests on the far right as well as the far left. He was unique for the time. While I certainly wasn't a fan, I did listen to his daily radio program and watch his television show. None of his "descendants" are worth my time.
