Another vaper here. As far as i'm aware it's the batteries that explode and not the device itself. Do you have a mobile phone or tablet? they pose the same risk.
Nicotine and alcohol or my poisons. I vape every half hour on average and consume 3 or 4 beers or half a bottle of red wine in the evenings when it's film time.
