The Archer trade is wild. Pirates raise the white flag in the offseason and possibly make the biggest move at the trade deadline. Archer is no summer rental. And the Rays got some nice pieces in return.
Red Sox make no move to improve the bullpen, now anyway. Lots of deals can be made in August. Ask Justin Verlander.
The Orioles will be an interesting story. They are at a .300 winning clip now. That's roughly a 113-114 loss season (not doing the math but I know a 111 loss season is .315). Can the O's make a run at 120 "0's"?
