Phillies acquire Wilson Ramos for a player to be named later. I always liked Ramos, quality player. Don’t get this at all. The Phillies have a young catcher with a cannon for an arm in Jorge Alfaro. There’s like 6 other positions that could use an upgrade and we get an injured catcher. Did you expect a little more from his offensive game - he's batting .259 - not far off from where i'd like a catcher to hit - circa .275.... But I'm a disappointed in his power #s - he's got only 7 homers and 23 RBIs. I thought he had some pop in his bat coming off the farm. Knapp is only hitting .223. |
