Pros - Matthew McConaughey watching years of video messages from his son. Strong emotional punch right there. Impressive visual effects and its depiction of space travel Like Hoyte van Hoytema's cinematography on Dunkirk, it's visually stunning throughout. The docking sequence with that terrific Hans Zimmer score. I want a TARS robot buddy.
Cons- Why is Matt Damon here? The first 45 minutes are pretty disposable. Can feel a bit pretentious at times. "Murph!" According to another film website, which shall not be named, Murph's name is said 79 times in the film. "Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space." - Ugh.
