avi arad..........avi arad..........avi arad and amy pascalI mean worst part is that basically the deal was "you keep the sony films money, and we keep the Disney money" and sony thinks they have leverage, perhaps they do have some, but marvel doesn't need Spider-Man........sorry but true and if sony does pull Spider-Man out Disney won't get blamed, sony executives are painting themselves as egotistical pricks. also adi Shankar is eyed for venom solo flick.....blech I agree, which makes me wonder if they really go through with it.
I think the Venom film may be very telling. If the Venom film does not outright contradict anything in the MCU, and could be viewed as though it is a part of the MCU, then I think Sony is open to a continued relationship and sharing characters.
If the Venom film outright contradicts the MCU such that it is impossible to consider that it even could be a part of the same universe, then they basically have no interest in sharing and will want to use Spidey for themselves as soon as possible.
