I also noticed bright objects that go dim all over the sky!! Who knows what they are? Exploding stars, perhaps? Comets? Hold on...yeah, I'm being told those are just fireflies. False alarm I'm just glad the fireflies are coming back. When I was a kid I saw them nightly in the summer. Then as an adult they were rarely seen even in summer. The last few years they have returned. I'm sure it's mankinds fault. The honey bees are disappearing too due to CCD. When they're gone mankind is screwed. We will have to replicate our food ala Star Trek. I also have noticed far fewer hummingbirds although there was a brief period this summer that I saw quite a few. |
