True, the Soapbox in all its forms has always been more cliquish. It's just nice to see a general discussion board here since I've been banned from Hive/Exiles lol. You know my site is a troll hangout and sometimes I just want a calmer place to post. You are a truly good poster in my books. Agreed with your views on western Buddhists on the other thread. I hope you will be here too in the long run even if you have a board of your own. This place has a great set up. My forum is a different kinda place. I liked The Hive because I needed a respite from the craziness. But I'm rediscovering the benefits of v2 again. Yeah, I've argued often over the years with smug Western atheists who bash Christianity and then claim Buddhism is somehow not as superstitious as Christianity. |
