The Force Awakens. Despite its flaws, it was fun, enjoyable, and did indeed possess that Star Wars spirit that drew fans to the franchise.
TLJ, while interesting in some places, was a cringe-worthy mess.
Also it's astonishing to see the difference in RT scores:
Praise from critics and fans for TFA was nearly the same, 6 percent difference: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/star_wars_episode_vii_the_force_awakens/
For TLJ it was a 45 percent chasm: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/star_wars_the_last_jedi/
Clearly something very off about the latter.
