Several there which I really need to see! Of those not on my list, I have only seen Human Condition III, Through a Glass Darkly, An Autumn Afternoon, Kwaidan, The Red Desert.I'd particularly recommend The Face of Another, if you liked Woman in the Dunes. A few from yours I need to see also, in particular your #1. I've been meaning to see some more Visconti for awhile. I even have a copy of The Leopard sitting at home which I haven't gotten to yet. is brilliant and I can't believe I didn't include it on my list... top eight or ten, probably. The Face of Another is a one I really want to see. The only other Teshigahara film I have seen, apart from Woman in the Dunes, is the very good Pitfall. |
