Do you want to challenge him to a duel? Otherwise, a punch on the nose or to the jaw is the manly thing to do. Can you imagine John Wayne slapping another man? Mind you, George C Scott did it.
Dan Duryea: I think it was the straw boater hat, that sarcastic whining voice and the way he used to slap women around. He did not deserve more manly correction.
(I just listened to a commentary track for The Woman in the Window. He was, of course, a nice guy. He relished playing the villain).
