Well, Disney did release the movie digitally already. However unless you paid for it, I think it's considered a bootleg.
I liked that she doesn't have perfect Hollywood teeth. It makes her more relatable. Let's admit: most people in the audience watching the movie don't have perfect teeth. It's more believable most people wouldn't in the Star Wars universe either.
What did you think of her character overall? The reshoots commissioned by Disney seemed to help her character the most. When I first watched the trailer, I hated her character with a passion. She came across so smug, bratty, and unlikable - especially with that, "I rebel line!" (it's no coincidence they cut that bit of dialogue out of the final cut of the movie). She still came across a little bit like that in the scene where she meet Mon Mothma. It's a fleeting moment though, so I let it slide.
K-2SO (the "skinny droid") was interesting. I didn't find him very funny but some did. Regardless of this, he was memorable in some weird way for me. I guess he reminded me a bit of EV-9D from Return of the Jedi:
I liked the ending. It curbed people's expectations that Disney was just going to "Disney-fy" Star Wars. It was bold to off so many characters...kind of reminds me of what would happen if George R.R. Martin wrote a Star Wars movie.
A gay couple? Which two? Diversity isn't a problem for me. It's about time we get some different perspectives in Star Wars. I don't think it's a bad thing, and the most important thing, it didn't feel forced! It felt natural to the story.
Overall, I liked the movie. I liked the little things added in like the blue milk on the counter in Jynn's home as a child. Like I said in another thread, they did a great job of blending in PT/OT elements into Rogue One. i.e. the Clonetrooper-like character in the one scene.
I also liked they brought back unused, archived 40-year-old footage from Episode 4 of Red Leader and Gold Leader. Unfortunately, the actor who played Red Leader had died so they had to use the footage as-is. Gold Leader actor was able to return and re-record new lines for the movie. He said it was weird to watch footage of himself 40 years younger that he had never seen before in a new 2016 movie.
I hear they were going to bring Wedge back but decided against it. They said that Episode 4 is the first time Wedge sees the Death Star ("Look at the size of that thing!"), so he couldn't have been involved in Rogue One.
The Emperor's Royal Guards hanging out with Vader still annoys the hell of me. I know, I know, I guess it shouldn't but it does. They only go where The Emperor is! They don't guard anyone else. That, for me, is a major drop in Star Wars continuity.
