Yes. It’s a misconception that Superman is indestructible. He’s been killed before. He may be incredibly strong by normal human standards, but he doesn’t really fight normal humans. Still he's kind of boring
There are some very interesting Superman stories. Red Son is worth a read...and the whole Death of and rebirth series was cool.
