Some triva that I had totally forgotten.
It was very heavily discussed on our old site, if Charles Vanel's police detective in Diaboliques 1955, could have been the inspiration for the Columbo character.

Just like IMPO thought for years that
Lieutenant Frank Columbo
was a huge inspiration for the
main character Detective Robert Goren
on the TV Show
Law & Order: Criminal Intent also
. I always thought those two characters
could of had a spin-off show together
and be the Uncle and Nephew team
for their own Detective company later on
( wishful thinking of course )
