All animals alive today have to have been on the ark, a boat the size of just one and a half football pitches... That's 8.7 million animals of all sizes, X2.
Plus enough food for all of them for a year and ten days. The blue whales alone will eat 80 million krill a day. That's a store of 3 trillion krill just to feed they two.
Creatures that live in water wouldn't necessarily need to be rescued from a deluge.
