For TLJ haters, what would it take to get you interested in this?

Give Rey a more interesting backstory. Provide a proper explanation why she's so darn strong. Allow her to actually BE a character and have an arc instead of simply making her a placeholder of multiple talents. Stop forcing Poe to look like a jerk. If he's trigger-happy and arrogant that's fine, but at least don't make it look like he's completely clueless about safety protocols and common sense. Drop the Rose/Finn romance. Bring Finn back to the spotlight and don't relegate him to a simple sidekick or comic relief. Kill off Leia. Kill off the porgs. And maybe don't make every male character either a villain, a buffoon or a selfish prick.
