1997 was not a good year for comic book movies. It gave us the trifecta of terrible: Steel, Spawn, and Batman and Robin. It's amazing the genre recovered at all. HEY!!! I liked Spawn,,,I was 10 years old when I first saw it but I liked it, my uncle on the other hand was in his 30's and he was adamant it was the greatest film he ever saw, hence why he showed it to his 11 year old nephews and his 8 year old daughter when we were meant to be going to see Mulan for her birthday  |
