Pros: The costume designs. They're amongst the best and !oat accurate looking. Cons: The fact that beside The Avengers theme none of them really have memorable themes in the same way we have for Batman, Superman, Spider-man and now even Wonder Woman. Having recently rewatched a bunch of the origin story movies I developed a new appreciation for some of the character themes... Few are truly memorable, but most are decent. The real problem, I think, is that they abandon them in the sequels every time. The Guardians, for example, have a great theme in the first movie... But you don't hear a note of it in the sequel! |
