I think an outsider is going to win this Staggs. I don't know which one, but I said the same before the Euros that an outsider would win it and Portugal ended up winning it. I don't think there is a country that is particularly dominant at the moment, so it becomes a bit of a lottery. I agree, it's a lottery. Even the bookies don't really have a definite clue, eh. Looking at those odds, it crossed my mind to try wise-guy tactics and try to at least make profit. If I bet equal stakes on Germany, France, Brazil, Spain and Argentina, the worst I would do is double my money (if 'favourites' Germany won at 5/1) If any of the other four won it, I'd make more profit. But if none of them won it, I'm down five stakes with nothing to show. And Argentina are hardly setting their group on fire. I could switch them for Portugal? Will they show us anything next year?
