I first saw Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969) as a midnight sneak preview, in Denver, with a group of other young singles. We went to see the main feature--I can't remember what it was now--and stayed to watch B&CT&A on a Saturday night. We all loved the comedy of the movie. Of course we knew Natalie Wood from her movies and Robert Culp from his TV show I Spy. But, who were these other two actor that made us laugh so hard: Elliott Gould (oh he is Barbra Streisand's husband) and Dyan Cannon. Both actors won us over immediately.
I think these two actor's careers were launched from this movie. Elliott Gould had a leading role in MASH (1970). Dyan Cannon only had to wait a little longer.
