I have never been disappointed in a Jimmy Stewart performance.
I almost got to meet him in person … almost being the operative word

Did get to see him on stage in Harvey which is one of my notorious forever films.
If absolutely forced to choose just one …. Elwood P. Dowd would probably be the one … but ONLY if forced to choose.
