It's been a while, but is there any evidence that Peter or Aunt May didn't pay for the trip? Every school trip I was ever on we had to pay for the trip before we were allowed to go weeks in advance. And as I got chicken pox in 5th grade 2 days before a trip to Ft. Sumter I couldn't go. Guess what the payment to the trip was non-refundable. So is there any evidence that says that they didn't pay for it? Or are you assuming they didn't? I honestly can't remember if it was mentioned. If it was I will admit he stole the price of a trip to Washington, DC. If there isn't then you admit that you are assuming.
