At one time I had 40 foster animals in my home; I had to scale back for space, time and financial reasons; this rescue group is funded out of the volunteer's pockets, adoption fees don't even begin to cover veterinary care, food, litter, special needs animals, etc.
It seems we are very alike, except that I am not vegan. Nobody's perfect, but I'm doing the best I can.
