When a school sends a team on a road trip to compete for the school, does the school pay for the trip or do the students pay for the trip? I've always thought that the schools pay for the trip to send their students to compete for the school. But on the MCU board, several MCU fans have claimed that the school doesn't pay for the trip and that the students have to pay for the trip. Is that true? Or are MCU fans just idiots? Every trip I have seen the parents have to pay for at least a part of it. If it is for a school competition, like the one in Spiderman: Homecoming, then I could see it going either way. I know if I went on a trip like that at my high school, I would have had to pay. Many times, too, the school will take care of a lot of the expenses, but the children still have to pay something. When my children go on trips, usually I have to pay. When we went to Washington DC when I was in high school, I have to pay like $300 or something. I am sure the school covered some of the expenses. Most of the time, they pay for travel simply by providing the bus and gas. I am kind of rambling now. I would just say that it is pretty even either way, but I see the kids paying most of the time. You have to answer the question behind the question. The answer is “Who is the real idiot, the Marvel fan who wasn’t sure how a school trip is paid for, or the person that took the time out of his day to pose the question when all he’s really saying is that his comic book movies are better than yours.”
