He's only THE most important person to this franchise! All the creative decisions that made the GOTG movies successful came from him!

Sci-fi adventure as opposed to strictly super hero? Check

talking raccoon voiced by Bradley Cooper? Check

Walking tree voiced by Vin Diesel? Check

Casting Chris Pratt who at the time was a chubby shlub who had a supporting role in a tv show? Check

Casting Michael Rooker ins fun supporting role: Check

taking a chance on characters that were even MORE unknown than the other Marvel characters? Check
