"Pro-lifers", or Anti-Choicers as they should be called, are among the lowest scum of the Earth, right with SS officers or other goons of totalitarian regimes. Thanks for reminding me. I doubt that simply appointing conservative judges will bring about any change in abortion law. The Constitution doesn't define when life begins, rights begin, or what a marriage means either. Those changes will require a change in quite many people's hearts and minds and some Constitutional amendments such as quite many states did pass to their own state constitutions on same sex marriage. Donald Trump might not be the leader those movements need. He does appear to be gaining support among Republicans, but that might not mean as much as some people think. Because Trump is not on the ballot in November and because Republicans need voter feedback on Trump they are aligning themselves with him, sometimes against their better judgement. His intense nationalism might not be the formula for the sort of winning, popular conservatism needed. Too many people these days rate their own merits by looking at the flaws in their opponents. Obviously Democrats only need focus on Trump's unpopularity, they do not much need to show any math. It is also true though that many Republicans have no ideas either, other than that the Democrats have none. The truth is both parties could use a whole new brand of leadership that went to better schools.
