I'll say this for him: a) he made me genuinely invested in the outcome of a Nicholas Cage outing in Wild at Heart, and b) his style is so distinct that even his bad stuff is uniquely David Lynch.

Lynch has been very active since the release of Mulholland Drive, he's written and directed several features and shorts, relaunched his series Twin Peaks for Showtime, and he's also been acting too - On Twin Peaks and also did a recurring voice over role for The Cleveland Show.

That said, David Lynch's daughter Jennifer *has* directed for the MCU before - She has helmed episodes of Agents of SHIELD and Jessica Jones.

I knew about the Twin Peaks revival but not about anything else, including the existence of a daughter. Good for him for letting his hair down and doing The Cleveland Show.

Physically (facially) he reminds me of Tom Waits as Renfield in Bram Stoker's Dracula.
