Why do people say that Samantha twitches her nose In Bewitched

I mean she does not its her upper lop that she twitch not her nose. I mean her nose does move a little but its still her upper lip that she twitches 




So why do people still thinks that its her nose that she twitches when its very easy to see that its her upper lip?




I have a feeling that twitches and twitch may be the wrong words. But i think you know what i mean
