as a tongue-in-cheek prank, 
the kids decided
to hammer up one of those
cute little signs
you see
on the desks of secretaries and executives 
alike.



of course, 
here in the kingdom of the heart, 
we have
tremendous warehouses
dedicated
to nothing but generating things like
cute little signs.



so i
wasn't the least bit surprised
as i saw them
scrambling up ladders
hammers in hand
stirring up mischief at my office door. 



and i; 
being the ever illusive
ask me
if i care type, 
waited till long into their nap time, 
to meander out
and see the damages done.



and there
above the heart-shaped sun
i had been given
by a
graduated nun
read:
all roads lead to paradise
so remember
to
always have fun.
