So if this is such a good 1st innings track, why did England decide to have a bowl first? It wasn't a particularly good decision as pointed out by experts like Swann and others. I think they were banking on getting in head of Indian batsmen after Indian batsmen proved themselves extremely poor under seaming conditions. That said England can still win it even if India get 370. Score 500 and get India cheaply for something 220 in 3rd innings and chase down modest total. England will likely bat at run rate of 4 per over so I see no problems with time. Advantage England. Though they should have batted and scored something like 360-5 today.
