@nxnwrocks: As a teacher-librarian in a large school I know that kids are reading more than ever. And this on top of the textese.
As well, not all the stuff they read on their screens is social media stuff. While I circulate a huge number of books (my school has 1800 students) I know that any of them are also reading on their devices.
