Palace are threatening but getting past 'Pools back four is not as easy as it was a year ago. Virgil is mopping almost everything at the back and although Trent-Arnold's crossing is in the Izaguirre class (miles over everyone's head) he is a good pacy defender. Only Mane seems to have the wherewithal to outwit a superb Palace defence. Firmino and Salah are under the thumb and I expect Sturridge to come on soon. Keita continues to impress and showed wonderful skill taking an iffy pass from the keeper and with a sublime shimmy left a Palace player for dead before laying one on a plate for Mo, who seems to be having one of those nights.
