I'm watching it for the first time right now.

Of all the "inconsistencies" that people whine about with this film, this is the only one that really bothers me. Those guards shouldn't be there.

Overall, it was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend reading the book Catalyst and the novelization of this film as well. It's a cool addition to the lore.
