That's exactly what Baphomet was. Sorry about the facts. Baphomet is a demon of Satan, and as such is a war criminal who fights for slavery.
This is, of course, just a move to make a point. christians in the US are attempting to tear down the wall of separation between church and state. They like to put things like ten commandments monuments on government land, claiming that it's not a religious act but just a cultural one. So a group put this statue there to demonstrate that they're lying about that. And of course, the christian howls of protest prove nicely that all of this is indeed about religion. In truth the baphomet statue shouldn't be allowed on government land - and neither should ten commandments monuments, statues of jesus, etc.
