Some top-notch talent portrays rednecks in Poor Pretty Eddie (1975), starring Shelley Winters, Slim Pickens, Dub Taylor and Jack Cassidy as the rednecks. The movie is a 70's potpourri of hicksploitation and blaxploitation since a black woman played by Leslie Uggams (Deadpool and Roots) breaks down in Redneck Central and goes to them for help, but help she does not receive...oh, did I mention one of the hillbillies is a wannabe Elvis impersonator too? It's also a bit of a horror movie.
