I gave Steve Berry a shot. For a thriller writer, he's a tad dry. I agree, he's a bland writer. I've only read one Steven Berry book, and it will be my last one. I read four of the Cotton Malone series (a humorless man's Dirk Pitt) but I'll admit his standalone novel The Columbus Affair was actually good. |
