I didn’t watch the video. But based on what I know about them, they are “Christian” in name only. That is they fancy themselves as “Christian”, and call themselves the Church if Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Beyond that, their doctrines and central beliefs are so different than every other Christian denomination, they really have to be considered their own religion. It’s based on Christianity but very divergent from the teachings of Christ or the apostles in the bible. Even Jehovah’s Witnesses (who many other Christians also don’t consider to be true Christians) still have doctrines, beliefs, and practices that are based on the teachings of Christ and the apostles. So they at least have more of a legitimate argument to claim Christianity, despite their obvious doctrinal divergences with the mainstream denominations. But Mormon’s, whose primary teachings don’t even come from the Bible, but rather from the Boom of Mormon (which contradicts the Bible) and come from the supposed prophet Joseph Smith, they’re really “Smithians” more than “Christians”.
