I love The X-Files, which I watching from the beginning on Netflix. It has some great episodes, but the overall alien arc is what drags it down some, Chris Carter admitted he had no endgame back then. The most recent revival episodes have FINALLY attempted to provide some more insight and closure, but most likely won't continue without Gillian Anderson having left.
I stopped watching Californication on TV after season 3, not because I didn't like it, I just lost track of it when it returned. I do plan to finish it someday. Also trying to finish Aquarius, season 2.
