I thought it was just okay. I remember when Disney was doing a whole slew of those movies in the early 2000s like Miracle, Glory Road, The Rookie, Invincible, and The Greatest Game Ever Played (remember that one?).
The Greatest Game Ever Played is actually my favorite of the Disney sports movies.
Was that the Shia LeBeouf one? I remember liking it but don't remember much about it. Its probably the only one on that list that never gets air time. The rest always get played on cable TV, especially Remember The Titans, Invincible and Glory Road
