You mean like all that campaigning for Wonder Woman to get a Best Pic nom? WB didn't hire a professional to campaign for anything. All WB did was send Academy voters a DVD package of movies to consider for Oscar nominations. And Wonder Woman was only 1 of the movies that was included in the DVD package, but the main movie that WB was pushing for Oscar nominations in their DVD package was Dunkirk. MCU actually hired a professional to campaign for Black Panther. That's really shameful. If a movie is good enough to be nominated for an Oscar, then it shouldn't need a professional to campaign for it. Isn't this the first time Marvel Studios has campaigned for a Oscar? IF that's the case who would have the contacts in Marvel Studios to head up the Campaign? I'm not excusing it. I think any studio who campaigns at all, be a dvd, full page ads, private screenings, parties etc should be disqualified from being nominated. Just wondering.
