It's pretty simple... Islam is evil, Christianity is good.
but it seems some liberals nowadays are okay with Islam and just about everything else besides Christianity which is proven good here in the USA etc. but lately, for many liberals, what was once good is now bad and what was once bad is now good. it's a wonder how some people can become so blind.

Agreed as some people try to twist things for their own corrupt benefit.
but that's where the Catholic church comes into play as it's the moral guide of the world. they speak with authority when it comes to morals etc (since it's THE church Jesus Christ Himself started with Peter(who's the first pope) and went through the generations til today) but many won't listen because they don't like what they have to say because it does not suit their sinful ways (one thing I am sure plenty of people ignore, even "Catholics", is the Church's position on contraception). but as usual, the world's ways (of which many are entrenched in) are often opposed to Jesus Christ's ways. the Catholic church is correct, those opposing it's moral truths are simply wrong. period.
also, there are people who can take any random thing from the bible and twist it to try to make Christianity look bad. but these people are either flat out shady or don't realize what they are opposing. I would imagine many simply don't realize what they are rejecting.
but it pretty much boils down to this for many since they oppose Jesus Christ's truth...
"If I were not a Catholic, and were looking for the true Church in the world today, I would look for the one Church which did not get along well with the world; in other words, I would look for the Church which the world hated. My reason for doing this would be, that if Christ is in any one of the churches of the world today, He must still be hated as He was when He was on earth in the flesh. If you would find Christ today, then find the Church that does not get along with the world. Look for the Church that is hated by the world as Christ was hated by the world. Look for the Church that is accused of being behind the times, as our Lord was accused of being ignorant and never having learned. Look for the Church which men sneer at as socially inferior, as they sneered at Our Lord because He came from Nazareth. Look for the Church which is accused of having a devil, as Our Lord was accused of being possessed by Beelzebub, the Prince of Devils. Look for the Church which, in seasons of bigotry, men say must be destroyed in the name of God as men crucified Christ and thought they had done a service to God. Look for the Church which the world rejects because it claims it is infallible, as Pilate rejected Christ because He called Himself the Truth. Look for the Church which is rejected by the world as Our Lord was rejected by men. Look for the Church which amid the confusions of conflicting opinions, its members love as they love Christ, and respect its Voice as the very voice of its Founder, and the suspicion will grow, that if the Church is unpopular with the spirit of the world, then it is unworldly, and if it is unworldly it is other worldly. since it is other-worldly, it is infinitely loved and infinitely hated as was Christ Himself. But only that which is Divine can be infinitely hated and infinitely loved. Therefore the Church is Divine." - Fulton J Sheen (1895-1979)
that pretty much sums up many in today's world.
they probably even start calling us who try to follow the Catholic church moral's etc as 'too extreme' when what's really happening is that they have drifted too far away from Jesus Christ's way of living and begin to hate it etc. or... basically once someones standards drifts too far away from Jesus Christ, His standards will look that much more extreme to them, which I imagine some on the left fit inline with this and basically inline with that quote above.
p.s. Fulton J Sheen currently has Venerable status within the Catholic church which is stage 2 of 4 (i.e. 1)Servant of God, 2)Venerable, 3)Blessed, 4)Saint)... solanuscasey.org/about-us/the-cause-for-sainthood/learn-more-about-the-steps-to-sainthood

delusional theists who can use religion to justify anything you want, not matter how immoral!
