More like about 1% true. Good enough for you, eh? I'm not the one taking an issue with "Disney's assembly line of fact based sports movies". When a movie/TV show is "based on a true story/true events/", I think people know by now some scenes and characters are reimagined for dramatic purposes. People complaining about the dramatic presentation of real events when they're different from the way the experienced them is going to come with the territory.I agree. The "Based on a True Story" tagline is just used to sell the movie. It means almost nothing and should be ignored. I much prefer when a movie says, "Inspired by true events."
