Your Honest Thoughts/Opinions on "Remember the Titans"???

There really was a mixed race football team that had an unbeatable season like that and even winning it all. 
However there was no racial tension at all during their amazing season since integration had already happened by the time they played. 

And that is what I really hate about this movie. How they fictionalized that part just to throw some drama in there. 
The screenwriter was black so he throws in that stuff plus shows how racist he is towards whites.
For example, having a white kid play country music he likes with the black kid putting it down.
Then later on having the same white kid put himself down by calling himself, "White trash."
Yes, all the white kids are the dumb clowns and ALL the blacks are perfect and not one thing is wrong with ANY of them.

That racism also goes to that kid you mentioned who is gay. The back up QB they call "Sunshine." He kisses on the lips the star defensive white player and by the time they get back to town from training camp it's all forgotten about.
No how, no way would that really happen. Sunshine would never be able to live that down during all of the rest of his HS days.

I used to love the movie. Even bought it. Then when I saw it for what it really is as I described, I broke it and threw it in the trash which is what it is. A garbage movie.
