In Terry Gilliam's 12 Monkeys, Bruce Willis and Madeleine Stowe are in a theatre watching the Muir Woods scene from Vertigo. Afterwards, Stowe disguises herself with a blonde wig, and Willis sees her walking towards him as Jimmy Stewart sees the transformed Kim Novak emerge in Vertigo.
