In fairness it shouldn't be compared to other CBMs. I view it as a crime drama, not an action film. The MCU embraces the stories' comic book roots while Nolan tried to ground his trilogy in reality as much as he possibly could. They're just very different films.

Which is what kills it for me.
I look at mug shots every day at work. They do not let people keep full face paint on. They would scrub that off, then send the picture out.
