I tend not to discuss religious matters with my religious friends (catholic or otherwise) as they know I’m an atheist. The only time religion ever comes up (and it’s usually with Protestant friends/family) is when they want to figure out why I’m not a Christian anymore. And those conversations tend to go in circles so at this point I avoid those as well. There is a resident Catholic here on these boards that likes to talk about “pedophillia” (her spelling), but it’s hardly ever in the context of the Catholic Church which I find rather funny and ironic.
