The frontage in your picture advertises Alexander Nevsky (1938) dir: Sergei M. Eisenstein. If that is the sort of "propaganda movie" they were showing I should think it would be a progressive move for the USA. Free admission too! Sounds like Swayze made a wrong move throwing the commies out.

I've probably recounted the time I rented Alexander Nevsky back in '88 or so. Unsure how much to charge for the rental, the counter clerk shouted over to the manager, "HEY MR THOMPSON! IS ALEXANDER NEVSKY A PORNO MOVIE?"
