In the Twilight Zone episode: "The Midnight Sun"Season 3: Episode 10 November 17, 1961 Lois Nettleton plays Norma, a woman that is having to face the end of the World... Because... the Earth's orbit has changed and it is moving closer & closer to the Sun. Each day brings more sunlight, and it gets hotter and hotter. 120 Degree F and climbing! Episode Spoiler... At the end of the episode, it turns out that Norma has been sick with a fever and was dreaming her whole situation... And she is relieved to find out that it wasn't true... However... The reality of her situation is really the exact opposite... Personally, I would rather Freeze to Death... I can't stand excessive heat and humidity... Also, if I wanted to try to live a few extra days, I would think it would be easier to do so, LIKE: having campfires, and wearing extra clothes and blankets.
